Hostile postings

Well I never promised a thrill a minute with this but the anonymous hostile comments.... crikey! Let me address a few issues.

Comedy falls.... don't worry as soon as I start falling over you guys will be the first to know and I will be sure to post pictures of injuries if the public demands. Over the 24 years of the London Marathon so far 8 people have died and no doubt there is a good chance some of them fell over on the way to their finish - not so comical but related. On the same note, good old Phidippides died after his run, but he had run 280 miles in the previous 3 days to Sparta and back.... As for running backwards, the record for running backwards is 3 hours, 56 minutes - faster than the majority of people that run it forwards.

Now, monkey suits or dwarfs eh? If anything it would be a chicken suit - they are the most popular choice when it comes to comedy London Marathon attire. Next... dwarfs, the seven Cullen brothers from Croydon ran this year's Marathon dressed as the seven dwarfs. But in the sibling rivalry stakes that was nothing, the Flaherty family from Bradford was attempting to beat the record for siblings in a marathon by fielding eight brothers and three sisters.

The final thought was to have 'stampede of bewildered beasts behind' me. If the same chaps are running, the record for a pantomime horse is a very respectable 4 hours 37 minutes. So hopefully it would be behind me although it might me who is more bewildered.

And for the rest of you, last night I did 4.8km of interval training.
