Went for a 5km run last night and did it in 20'58. But it really took it out of me. I don't know why I felt so bad afterwards but for some reason it did. I have come to the conclusion that I am over training! I know I'm probably not a typical candidate for such a problem, but that is my reckoning. Checking my inbox this morning there was an email from the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) accepting me as a Golden Bond runner for next year`s London Marathon. Having thought about it for a couple of months I emailed them yesterday with a final application form and it took all of 24 hours for them to say yes.
